I have just had one of the worst customer experiences of my life. I have been a devoted STAPLES patron for many years, and I remember a time when the staff was helpful and knowledgeable. Unfortunately, the helpful staff has been replaced by automation, which cannot do the job of an actual person. I spent $15 on label stickers to print from home, but the website is beyond glitchy and won't work. When I returned the stickers, the guy there told me there was nothing he could do. He didn't offer any assistance, no refund, nothing. Call me old fashioned, but I believe a company is obligated to stand by the products they sell --- if they sell junk, it shouldn't be the customers' responsibility to fix it. I then tried to print a separate document using their automated system, but the document was printed wrong. Again, the employee told me he couldn't do anything, and that it was up to me to make certain the file was formatted correctly. Of course, STAPLES had no problem taking my $2.00 for the print. So here's the thing: IF NOBODY IN THE STORE CAN HELP ME, WHAT IS THE POINT OF SHOPPING THERE??? If STAPLES expects me to do everything myself, why not buy from Amazon? STAPLES seems determined to make themselves obsolete, and if this is how they treat their customers, I see no reason to continue going there.

Staples in Tarpon Springs. We could never afford to buy a personal printer and maintain the replacement ink cartridges due to the cost. However, if my daughter needs to print forms, Staples has always agreed to print copies. We tried to use the public library, but it is difficult to connect her phone to the printer there.
