  Dedicated Staff or Staff person usually greets you. Service & accuracy was excellent here at the Centerville United States Post Office until recently. It’s still generally good; but it can to be much better. I’m sorry guys, but y’all got to pull it together. Please. I’m certain that Tallahassee growth has contributed to the sparse human and other resources which are much needed here to make this operation work right again. It’s overdue. After now 40 minutes at USPS following a 45 minute drive, my package is still eluding me. SCANNING & TRACKING HERE says it’s been here since Thursday; and another Clerk (the only Clerk here with a line that could run out of the door) stated it’s probably still on the truck! Darren got Jose, the Station Manager involved which was extremely caring for him to do. Maybe Cadilla who might have scanned it last Thursday. I don’t understand what appears to be patent mismanagement. It appears a number of people have difficulty with their package being misdirected or being told. Their package is here and unfortunately leaving without their package. The best thing was a veiled threat by a Senior Postal worker to “just call 911” for complaining customers. Why are some people’s first response to a customer is to create an argument? Who is going to improve this situation and station as this location is one of the most important and or key postal locations serving more or less 100,00 people? Multiple keys and numbers on locker tags (#58/89 have 2 keys and tags unable to read), long lines, insufficient staff, scant, disheveled office appearance. A package arrives HERE on Wednesday/Thursday at 2pm. & It’s “Ready for Pickup.” READY, but probably still on the TRUCK? Now, almost 1.5 Hours later —where’s the package? God Bless the Supervisor, Darren, for trying to hunt the package down. What has happened here? God Bless Them, the workers are discussing and acknowledging how bad it has gotten here. “I just don’t know what happened here ….it’s sad.”

  I love this location, clean, speedy service. Usually I am pleased with the aeevice. Iwould be remiss not ro mention my most recent visit left a bad taste in my mouth. I waited my turn to hand my mail to rhe postal clerk. He greeted me and went on to say to me "You know you could've just dropped these in the mail slot?" I said "Yes I know, but I wanted to make sure they go out today, and didn't want a delay. I was very taken aback that he felt he needed to go over my clear options as I have visited this post office frequently and always hand deliver when the windows are open. So when I chose to use another option of service, I thought it was always up to the customer, I thought.

  they take decades to scan a package in. i resell and can drop the package off the same day but thanks to this post office it’ll be 2-3 days before anything is scanned. so now it looks like i’m doing bad business to my customers.
