This post office is disrespectful. They treat people badly, and to top it all off, they close at 3 p.m. and never reopen. I've been rushing out of work for three days now, and it's always closed with that sign. I think they should take urgent action.

This is the worst place in the world. I recommend that if you don't want to ruin your day, you stay away. The service is abysmal, and the employees are insufferable. In conclusion, heed the reviews from those of us who have endured this terrible experience, and use this information to your advantage by never—ever—visiting this USPS location.

The lady that is always behind the counter needs to be fired asap. She’s the most miserable and nastiest person you will ever encounter. You can not ask a question without being given an attitude or responded to a horrific rude tone of voice. She’s always on lunch break for 2 hours. I come between 2-3 and it’s always closed for lunch. I don’t know what type of entitled employee this lady thinks she is but she’s gotta go asap

Though we all know USPS has never been known for its friendly service, this location is just beyond disgraced. I had to watch how the woman working there April 30th, 2026 mistreated and was so rude and impatient towards an older gentleman right before my eyes. When it was my turn she treated me with the same disrespect. I had to remind her multiple times that screaming wasn’t at all necessary. She is just so miserable working here that somehow she feels entitled to extend the same experience to every customer. One star is one too many for such a poor attitude and human being.

TANY - TAMY – Hostile and disrespectful customer service experience in Sunny Isles Beach I would like to formally document that I experienced one of the most shocking, disrespectful, and unacceptable customer service encounters of my life at the USPS location in Sunny Isles Beach, Florida. The behavior of the employee who identified herself as “Tanny” was extremely hostile, cold, and clearly intended to treat me with contempt. At no point was there the slightest level of courtesy, empathy, or willingness to help — on the contrary, the attitude was confrontational and dismissive from beginning to end. I had to visit the location twice to return an expensive cellphone within an urgent deadline, at risk of being charged a high fee. That alone is already a stressful situation. Even so, when I returned with everything ready, I was treated as if I were asking for a favor, rather than using a service I am entitled to. When I requested something basic — a simple piece of tape to attach the shipping label — I was met with complete indifference and a blunt refusal, with no attempt to help or offer a solution. This forced me to leave the location and seek assistance elsewhere, which is completely absurd for a service like USPS. Upon returning, even though another customer voluntarily offered me her place in line, the employee deliberately refused to allow it without any reasonable justification. There were only two people in line. This was not procedure — it was a choice. It was clear unwillingness. The situation became even more serious when I noticed a pattern of differential treatment, which made me feel clearly targeted and discriminated against. The way I was treated raises serious concerns about bias and improper conduct in customer service. This type of behavior is extremely serious. This is not just poor customer service — it may constitute discrimination, which is unacceptable in any environment, especially in a public service. In light of this experience, I am seriously considering seeking my rights and exploring appropriate formal actions. Situations like this cannot be ignored or normalized. USPS urgently needs to reevaluate not only who they place in customer-facing positions, but also how they train and supervise these employees. This was, without a doubt, one of the most negative and disturbing customer experiences I have ever had.
