  Unacceptable customer service and unauthorized fees. My sister went in to pick up a package routed directly through Nike checkout as an official UPS Access Point delivery "Hold at UPS Access Point" clearly documented on the tracking and shipping label. The clerk refused to hand over the package unless my sister paid a $5 "receiving fee," falsely claiming she needed a paid mailbox. Even after explaining and showing that it was an official corporate Access Point delivery—which is free to the customer—the employee was rude, dismissive, and treated her horribly, forcing her to pay $5 just to get her property. Charging unauthorized fees on corporate network drop-offs violates UPS franchise terms. We have escalated this to UPS Corporate, filed a formal complaint, and reported the store. Avoid this location.

  This is my local UPS I use for Amazon returns. Unfortunately, they seem to have different rules than every other UPS store regarding Amazon returns. For one: if I bring an Amazon return in its original packaging which is a sealed box, they’ll tell me I need to have it in another box. I verified with my return instructions and with UPS customer service this is not true in the specific case I just described. Not sure if this is an attempt to upsell, or a misinterpretation of the instructions on their part, but either way UPS is supposed to be a convenient way to return Amazon packages, not an expensive way. Second: I’ll have two of the same packages I ordered at the same time I’m returning (for example two orders of pens). Amazon gives me ONE QR code to give to UPS to scan. At this UPS store they insisted I needed two QR codes for one return. This in fact, is not true, and I received a full refund with just the one QR code. I’m hoping the management/ownership at this particular UPS store read this and improve the experience at the store. I can’t imagine how many people have paid for unnecessary boxes at this store due to either their scheme to upsell or misunderstanding of how Amazon returns work at UPS
