  My experience with Sunbelt was incredibly frustrating from start to finish, largely because of my interactions with Jayne. Communication was consistently poor. Multiple emails went unanswered throughout the transaction, and getting updates often required repeated follow-ups. Rather than taking ownership when issues arose, it seemed like the blame was always placed on someone else instead of acknowledging mistakes and working to resolve them. There were also several important details that should have been handled proactively but weren’t. My buyers were closing remotely, and the notary wasn’t even scheduled until the day before closing, after I reached out to ask whether it had been arranged. That should never have required prompting from me. The most disappointing part was closing day. We were waiting for the buyer’s final wiring instructions, and instead of responding to emails or providing the information we needed, Jayne left a voicemail saying, “You should have them from the previous deposit.” That response was both unhelpful and unprofessional. The escrow deposit wiring instructions are not the same as the final wire instructions needed to complete a closing, and this created unnecessary confusion and stress on an already important day. Now, two days after the transaction officially closed, we still have not received a copy of the deed despite multiple requests. My clients need it for HOA purposes, yet we continue to wait with little communication and no apparent sense of urgency. A real estate closing depends on communication, organization, accountability, and attention to detail. Unfortunately, that was not my experience with Sunbelt or Jayne. I hope this feedback encourages meaningful improvements so future clients and agents receive the level of service they deserve.
