  I had a very disappointing experience at The UPS Store in Pompano Beach. I walked into the store wearing an arm sling with an obvious injury while trying to ship a large package. The owner ignored me for several minutes before finally acknowledging me. I asked if I could borrow a dolly to bring my large box into the store. Instead of offering assistance, the owner argued with me about the small dolly he wanted me to use and made no effort to help. Thankfully, a kind stranger outside saw me struggling and volunteered to help load the large box onto the dolly and bring it inside. Without that person’s help, I don’t know how I would have managed. Once I got back inside, the owner began raising his voice and told me they would not accept my UPS account number and that my only option was to pay out of pocket. I explained that I had just spoken with UPS customer service, but he repeatedly insisted they would never have directed me to his store. This location advertises itself as locally owned, but customer service was completely lacking. If you’re looking for a UPS Store in Pompano Beach that values its customers and is willing to assist people with injuries or heavy packages, I recommend going somewhere else. Customer service, professionalism, and basic human decency go a long way. Unfortunately, I experienced none of those here.
