Would give 0 stars if I could. There’s not enough words to convey how awful these people are. Go literally anyplace else. No compassion or professionalism. The rudest (to a shocking degree) and least accommodating or understanding people I’ve ever had the misfortune to meet in my life. A total disgrace.

I would not recommend anyone to go here. If I could give zero stars, I would. ******Avoid this United States postal service if you are needing to get your passport.

Terrible customer service. Absolutely awful experience. I made the mistake to go here with my three kids who needed new passports. I had an appointment and drove an hour to this horrible musty old place. The Caucasian male clerk with the receding hairline in the counter was extremely rude, racist and condescending. His tone of voice and attitude towards me was very disrespectful. As I was telling him I had made an appointment weeks earlier. I showed him that I had a confirmation number with date/time/location of my appointment. No, he didn’t care. He couldn’t care less and refused to accept my filled out passport paperwork forms. This male Caucasian clerk became aggressive loud and rude. Lied, telling me I didn’t have an appointment. My information and all my business was discussed right in front of everyone else there. He told me condescendingly I must have made an appointment in another false website. His arrogant tone towards me was as if I was ignorant, as if I didn’t understand English or understand what I was doing. Mind you I travel a lot been to other post offices/ clerk of courts offices in other States and I’m very familiar with the whole process. I had all my kids paperwork, birth certificate and forms ready. I kept my calm because my children were with me. Very unprofessional place and it has been the worst post office I have gone to, I will NEVER again be back to this place. I wouldn’t want any other person to deal with such poor behavior. This clerk will find any excuse not to help you. A truly terrible experience. These type of people should NOT be working in these type of jobs serving the community and people. Lacking customer service skills and respect.
If you need passport service I would recommend Polk County Clerks office in Lake Alfred. No appointment needed and you’ll be treated with respect and the whole process is fairly quick.

They went out of his way to help me with my problem with my packages at closing time no less!!! Honestly, was a little blown away by The kindness he displayed and not such a kind world thank you Derek for making my day better and my visit to the post office ever so Smooth I was so jubilant. I’ve sent about 1000 trading cards an an envelope with a semi rigid plastic card protector. Just happened to be driving by this post office vs my normal location today and the Indian lady at the front told me she wouldn’t accept them without a surcharge.
She was quite rude and acted like I was in the wrong even though I’ve never had any issue with 1000+ shipments at my normal location.
Crazy.
It’s also disgusting and hot inside this post office. Very dingy and dirty.
