- NWNae WhitmanJun 15, 20261.0I dropped off a box where it was required the Postal Service worker print off a label. Turned out the label was wrong and I needed to purchase a priority mail label. Fine. That's fine. I don't mind paying the extra $35. Let's ring it up. This box is very fragile and packed perfectly. Corner to corner. Let's not destroy it. Nope. The worker insisted on being helpful and getting me a bigger box which did not fit. No worries he's going to help me more because there's no line. Here's an even bigger box. Except they don't provide free packing materials and as I told him I didn't bring any extra for a bigger box. I didn't even want a bigger box. I just wanted to pay and get out of there. In the meantime, a line is forming. He has already cut my box open and required me to put it in the box that doesn't fit. He's only trying to help. So here I am panicking, because I have packed the box perfectly at home. I really just want to pay and go because the buyer is paying the shipping anyway. We talked about it. Please just ring me up. Finally, he barked at me, do you just want your original box? Yes please. I never wanted the new one. Good grief did he make me feel small. Good grief am I going to find any other post office rather than this one. They were so rude. It's funny. I work at Trader Joe's and I noticed bad customer service even more when I walk around town. An interaction which should've taken three minutes took 20. Or at least it felt like 20. My nerves. Be better dude. Appreciate the help that I didn't want and I told you over and over and over.......
