I had the most unpleasant experience at the Palm Coast UPS store. It appears that they only had 2 clerks working today. One working the desk and the other moving boxes from front to back. There was also another person (I assume an employee with their child) doing something in the back for about 10 mins. The desk clerk was working as fast as she could, while tge second clerk moved boxes/packages. The desk clerk went to the back to make copies for a customer-leaving no employee in front. People coming in to the store asked what was going on? No employees today? What was most unusual was the complete lack of communication by employees. No “welcome, we will be with you shortly” or “ we have to move the boxes before we can assist you” or not an “I am sorry for your wait- we are short handed today”. When the second clerk finally stopped moving boxes and asked to help the next person in line, the customer commented that it had taken 17 minutes of waiting in line… her response to him “well, we have other work we have to do”. I don’t understand why this store operates as if this lack of customer attention is ok. Perhaps a conveyer belt to move boxes to the back would help the employees attend to the humans who are seeking help.

Why is the email for copy and print services online different from the one the store actually needs to make prints/copies.? I sent everything I needed printed the night before to the email online. When I got in store yesterday the older gentleman working frustrated said he does not have access to that email. That I need to send it to a Gmail account they have in store. Please don’t offer copy and print services if your team is too busy or doesn’t want to do them: i would of sent it to a different email but the team their did not seem interested in helping me out. I just wasted my morning trying the UPS store to drive further to a Fed ex store to take care of my print job.

If I could leave zero stars I would. I had a very frustrating and disappointing experience at the UPS location in Palm Coast, FL today, and I feel compelled to share just how poor the customer service was. I walked in simply to ship a package. I approached the counter, provided my shipping information, and the employee began processing everything. When she asked for my address, I clearly spelled it out. However, when I reviewed the information on the screen, I noticed it was spelled incorrectly. I politely tried to correct it, carefully pronouncing and spelling it again, only to be told by the employee that I was saying my own street name incorrectly. That level of dismissiveness was both shocking and disrespectful. At that point, I just wanted to finish the transaction and leave, so I asked her to move forward. Throughout the entire interaction, she had a noticeable attitude and seemed uninterested in providing even basic customer service. Then, instead of resolving the situation professionally, she walked to the back and loudly stated she was not going to deal with me. I waited, expecting a manager or someone more professional to step in and handle the situation appropriately. Eventually, a young man came to the counter. Not only did he fail to apologize for the employee’s behavior, but he didn’t even acknowledge what had just happened. He simply continued the transaction as if nothing was wrong. At that point, it was clear that addressing the issue would go nowhere. If that individual was a supervisor or manager, it’s no surprise the employee felt comfortable acting the way she did. There is clearly a lack of accountability and customer service standards at this location. Overall, this experience showed a complete lack of professionalism, respect, and basic customer care. I would strongly caution others before choosing to use this UPS location.
