I am also filing a formal complaint regarding my experience with USPS employee Yoly Sable Dejesus and another employee at the USPS Semoran location in Orlando.
During one of the most stressful situations my family has experienced, I was treated with an unacceptable lack of professionalism, empathy, and respect.
On June 26th, Yoly Sable Dejesus provided me with her contact information and stated that she would call me the same day with an update regarding my package. I never received that call. I also attempted to follow up through email and received no response.
At the time, I was dealing with an extremely stressful situation involving a lost package containing critical immigration documents for my fiancé’s visa process. Instead of receiving support and communication, I felt dismissed and left to handle a problem that was caused by USPS.
During my conversation with Yoly Sable Dejesus, I was told that if the package arrived in time, “we still have time to catch a flight to Mexico.” When I questioned that statement because I was eight months pregnant, I was told that I would be the one catching the flight. That response was completely inappropriate and showed a lack of understanding of my circumstances. I paid USPS for a service because I trusted my package would be handled properly — I should not have been made to feel responsible for fixing a problem caused by USPS.
I am also requesting that another employee who was present during this interaction be identified and included in this complaint. I do not know her name, but she was working at the USPS Semoran location on June 26th. She had black curly hair and was a heavier-set woman. During the interaction, she made comments that were extremely inappropriate and upsetting.
This employee told me that if I “keep crying like this, I may not even have a birth” and also told me that I was “acting like my fiancé was dead” because he could still come here. These comments were completely unacceptable. They dismissed the seriousness of the situation and showed a lack of empathy toward what I was experiencing as an eight-month-pregnant woman dealing with a major family and immigration issue.
I understand that mistakes can happen, but the way customers are treated when those mistakes occur matters. I was not asking for special treatment. I was asking for communication, accountability, and basic compassion.
Not to mention, they basically lost my fiancé’s immigration documents and didn’t know why or didn’t care to look into it. They told me that I had to file a claim. Meanwhile, I was crying and very stressed out and that’s not good for me or my baby, but this is all their fault!
I am requesting that management review this interaction, identify the employees involved, and take appropriate action regarding their conduct. I will also be escalating this matter further because the way I was treated was unacceptable.

Tremendous Service from the team at this location!
Systems were down due to IT issues they only had one working register for printing labels, and STILL moved the lines along with efficency. Will, Alex, and the Sup on duty provided great service and continously provided assurance of help while we all waited.
