  1)Found a job on the app. 2)Read all the requirements including PPE and attire. 3) Selected it. 4) confirmed it. 5)Pulled up early to jobsite with correct attire and PPE. 6)Checked the app to realize it was canceled. 7)Called the branch (W. Central Blvd). Dispatcher took me off the job because apparently they called me to make sure that I had the right PPE and attire (listed in the app) but I missed their phone call so they booted me off the job. (Oh btw, when you "confirm" on the app, the branch can't see it on their end so they have to call you to make sure you're still showing up.) Don't waste your time with this rinky dink agency. The app sucks. Their attitude about laborers sucks.

  This agency used to be very good at one time. I remember when it was "Labor Ready' before the name changed to "People Ready". I started working with them back in "2015". And back then you had "Robert" and "Tandy", and they kept you busy with work. Every day I had a ticket too work. Now they have this "Jobstack" app. Which has been in play for some years now. But it's completely worthless. They barely post any tickets on there. And when they do post tickets. They have too many requirements to work a General Labor job that is physically demanding for a small amount of compensation ! And just about every job I try to take off the App. They deny me and cancel the ticket on me ! And then I call the Branch at "5:30 am", and every time I call. Either "Brenda" or "Jennifer" answers the phone and says they have no work available. This has been going on since last year "2025", when I re-registered with them. And I haven't worked any tickets for them in years. Because they always claim they have no work available. SMH ..... And let's not forget the "Background Check" and "Drug Test" they require now.

  This place sucks !! These places are suppose to help you work but these places do the opposite, and always claim there is no work. Also, they always send the same people out to work and not giving new people an opportunity to show they would work. I have tried this place and never get sent out to work, and I have been trying for weeks after signing up and every time I pick a job on there app, it always says this job is not available. It is aggravating to be told there is no work biggest ( Orlando Florida ) is and I just know there is plenty of work out there.
