Extremely Disappointing Experience — $7,500 Paid and Months of Being Ignored
I strongly recommend that other business owners think very carefully before doing business with Jay Berry Signs.
I hired this company to make and install a sign for my Mexican restaurant at Archer Town. The total cost was approximately $7,500, which I paid without any problem. Unfortunately, the finished work was unacceptable. The sign was left with a very noticeable black line running directly through the middle of it.
My salesperson was Jeremy Wegner, and after I discovered the problem, I repeatedly tried to contact the company to have it corrected. For a long time, I could not get anyone to properly respond to my complaint.
Finally, on April 24, 2026, I spoke with the manager, Olan, who told me the problem would be fixed.
It is now August 2026.
Almost four months later, the sign has still not been fixed. Even worse, my calls are now being ignored and I cannot get a response from them.
What makes this experience so frustrating is that they had absolutely no problem communicating with me when it was time to collect $7,500. Once they had been paid in full and I needed them to stand behind their work, the communication disappeared.
As a business owner, I understand that mistakes happen. What I cannot accept is taking a customer’s money, delivering defective work, promising to correct it, and then ignoring that customer for months.
I gave them every reasonable opportunity to resolve this privately before writing this review. I waited from April 24 until August, expecting them to honor their word. They did not.
I have records of the payment, photographs of the sign, and records of my attempts to contact them.
For $7,500, I expected professional workmanship and professional customer service. Instead, I received a defective sign, months of excuses and silence, and a company that stopped responding after receiving full payment.
Based on my personal experience, I would not recommend Jay Berry Signs to another restaurant owner or business owner.
If Jay Berry Signs wants to make this right, they know exactly what needs to be done: fix the sign they were paid $7,500 to provide.
