  It would be real nice if there were boxes stocked near the self-service kiosk. You know, so you could mail something out after hours if you can't make it during regular business hours. 🙄

  On March 3, 2026, I visited the USPS office located at 1201 Business Way, Lehigh Acres, FL 33936 to mail multiple envelopes. I was informed by the staff that the envelopes could not be weighed and was instructed to purchase two stamps per envelope. I followed these instructions and paid a total of $62.40. All envelopes were sealed by me at home prior to arriving at the post office. At the counter, I placed the required stamps on each envelope and handed all sealed, undamaged envelopes to the clerk. No additional guidance or warnings were provided regarding postage, handling, or mailing requirements. I was told the envelopes would arrive to their destination already written on the envelopes within approximately 7–10 business days. Later that month, I received a thick brown USPS package containing my envelopes, all of which were severely damaged with a stamped that said “Jessica.” Along with a letter from USPS apologizing and stating that the envelopes were damaged during USPS handling. As a result of USPS’s mishandling, I lost over $150 plus worth of contents that were inside the envelopes and I was forced to reorder the items and use a different mailing service to ensure timely delivery. I requested a full refund from this location because USPS failed to provide the service I paid for, and the mail was returned in unacceptable condition. I was ridiculed and treated like an idiot by their staff at the counter and was dismissed. DO NOT USE THIS LOCATION!!!! I was able to go to UPS and get better service and they were able to weigh my envelopes and charged me WAY less than this post office.

  If I could give 0 stars, I would. A USPS driver sped into the plaza and nearly hit me and my toddler. Instead of acknowledging what happened, she became confrontational. This kind of reckless behavior is completely unacceptable, especially from someone operating a postal vehicle. USPS needs to hold their drivers to higher safety standards—this situation could have ended much worse.
