  I had to return an item from Amazon. I never used staples to return to Amazon before. They scanned it and I didn't get a receipt when I asked she said I would get an email. I said oh, how do you know my email? I haven't given it to you. She said Amazon will send you an email in 24-28 hours. I said the other place aways gives me an paper receipt because they told me that sometimes Amazon is not good about refunding and I should keep the receipt. I said that worries me and maybe I should just pay for the other location. Then I said well ok and thought we were done. But as I am turning an older man Steven who was not part of the conversation decided to smart off and state well that your decison lady. I was suprised. I turned back and said that was highly un called for. He said well we don't need to hear how you feel about this. "So in other words I need to drop off the package and just shut up and not ask questions?" I told him I would be writing this review and that his comment was unnecessary. I am shocked these days that one cannot ask questions when they do not understand the system. I was a new customer to the process and my asking questions was not intended to hurt someone's feelings, but to understand so I would be sure to know that my refund was going to be applied since I had no proof in the form of a receipt that I had returned the item. The young girl who waited on me was pleasant and handled my concerns but the older person "Steven" who was old enough to know better than to take his bad attitude out on customers, set a bad example for this young lady and showed how he speaks to Staples customers. If I was screaming or yelling I would have not been as suprised, but asking questions should not set someone off like that. I hope he is not so fragile minded that he speaks and treat everyone like that who has questions.

  I had a wonderful experience at Staples. I was hesitant at first as it was very busy and I was on a time crunch. But the moment it was my turn to get checked out, I was greeted very kindly by the employee Phoebe. She was calm and collected considering the store was packed with many customers who were being impatient. She checked me out quickly and I left the store satisfied with my purchase and my interaction. Thank you for being so kind.

  $25 to laminate a chart for my classroom. 2x6. Attempted to have a package label printed, but received zero help was told to go to the printer, where I had to create an account for it to then tell me an error occurred.

  I come here OFTEN! i never have any issues up until my last order and the response I was given when bringing it up to the store manager today. I placed a print order and the ready pick up time stated by 6:30 the following day since I placed after 12. By 6 the following day I had not heard anything so I called in and was told she'd have it done by 6:30 as long as she didn't get more customers that she needed to help in store. She let me know if anything it would be not too long after 6:30. I was out and about so decided to make a few other stops to not rush her incase she didn't get to them. She didn't mention that they closed at 7; and I didn't look since I assumed it was later for closing since it was a saturday. I never received a notification or phone call stating that my order was ready, which typically is what is done whenever the order is ready. I arrived at 7:20 and the manager was showing another employee how to close the inside gate and looked at me several times but never once mentioned "hey we're closed" and i literally stood there for 5 min because i just assumed she was showing him how to close it (again it's a saturday didn't think they closed earlier) instead of acknowledging me she just continued to look at me until i finally asked if they are closed. i explained to her the situation and let her know that i was just talking to somebody and wasn't even told they closed in the next 30 min and thankfully the other employee ended up coming. when bringing it up to the store manager today i was given a fake apology that didn't seem sincere at all. all in all, i shopped here often & if it wasn't for it being the closest i definitely wouldn't return.
