  The manager, Rob, and his associate, Brittany, are excellent! I was trying to get a detailed receipt faxed to Medicaid for reimbursement, but the line was continuously busy. They were relentless in their efforts to send the fax through, which was greatly appreciated! I have trusted this UPS Store for YEARS and will continue to do so because of their kindness, compassion, and dedication to their customers. They have always made sure my packages get to where they need to go ASAP. Plus, it is locally operated, so it's always nice to know you're supporting your local community members, and not just a large cooperation. I highly recommend this location on the corner of Racetrack Road and SR13 (San Jose Boulevard). 😁

  I went in to return an Amazon package. I was sending it back in the same box it was shipped to me. I had taped it securely but when I got to the UPS store I noticed the item had made a small hole in the box and was slightly visible. I asked if I could use the packing tape dispenser, sitting on the counter and was told, "I will have to charge you for it". REALLY, for a small piece of tape. I wasn't asking them to re-wrap or provide another box I simply wanted to make sure it wouldn't fall out. Apparently a piece of tape is worth more to them than good customer relations!!! I read your response, in which you completely missed the point. Why charge someone for A PIECE OF TAPE??? I was NOT asking for a new box, or for an employee to do ANYTHING. I simply asked FOR A PIECE OF TAPE. You completely missed my point! For a piece of tape, how much does it cost? It wasn't that I can't pay for it. It's about not nickel and diming people. Is your profit more important than good customer service, obviously, given your response, the answer is YES, profit is more important.

  I rarely leave reviews, but this experience did not sit well with me. I was charged for approximately 24 inches of tape to seal a prepaid package. Most shipping stores I have used simply seal a box with a small amount of tape as a customer courtesy, especially when processing prepaid shipping. I understand businesses need to make money, and I have no issue paying for services when expectations are clear. However, if your policy is to charge customers for every small amount of tape used, that should be clearly advertised on your storefront and website before customers bring in packages expecting basic assistance. Maybe this is just different from the way I grew up over the last 50 years 1 mile from this location, but it feels like people are constantly being nickel-and-dimed for things that used to be simple customer service. There is still profit being made from processing prepaid shipments, but charging for a small strip of tape left a bad impression. Not a great customer experience.
