The customer service departments are among the worst I have dealt with.

Allstate is the worst company I have dealt with ever !! They send you a link to chat about your issue and it doest get resolved. Waste of time.

I purchased Allstate Protection Plan for a Kent bicycle purchased on 9/28/2025. When the back wheel stopped turning, 2 gears stopped working, and back wheel spoke broke under normal riding, I contacted Allstate. They refused to cover since it was not beyond a year since the bike was purchased. Kent refused to cover anything claiming the defects are common under normal conditions. My issue with Allstate is that when you buy the insurance at the point of sale there is no warning that they won't help you. Also, the Kent warrantee is only for 6-months so the representative telling me that the warrantee only starts after the year is wrong. Bottom line, don't sell a product that you don't stand behind. My issues are more with Walmart and Kent International but the $32 used to purchase the extended warrantee cannot be ignored.
