  I purchased Allstate Protection Plan for a Kent bicycle purchased on 9/28/2025. When the back wheel stopped turning, 2 gears stopped working, and back wheel spoke broke under normal riding, I contacted Allstate. They refused to cover since it was not beyond a year since the bike was purchased. Kent refused to cover anything claiming the defects are common under normal conditions. My issue with Allstate is that when you buy the insurance at the point of sale there is no warning that they won't help you. Also, the Kent warrantee is only for 6-months so the representative telling me that the warrantee only starts after the year is wrong. Bottom line, don't sell a product that you don't stand behind. My issues are more with Walmart and Kent International but the $32 used to purchase the extended warrantee cannot be ignored.

  If I could give -10000 Stars, I would. This is the worse company in the world. No accountability, lousy customer service. Good hands folks, yeah while they have their hands in my pocketbook. Don't file a claim with them, you will never get more than a couple of thousands of dollars!
