  Left a note on the mailbox about not blocking the mailbox. It was not blocked, but the sidewalk was partially blocked due to trash cans, but only in a way that would prevent the driver from driving on my sidewalk to get to the mailbox, not in a way that would prevent them from actually reaching said box. The USPS drivers in the Bayonet Point/Gulf Highlands area are ALWAYS driving on sidewalks and this is not the first time I've gotten a note like this just because they couldn't drive on my sidewalk to reach the box. It is not my fault that JD Parker didn't pick up my trash today and therefore the cans were in the way so your vehicle can't illegally driving on the sidewalk. This driver likely left a lot of these notes because our whole neighborhood didn't get our trash picked up. Cut us some slack, we already cut you all slack when it comes to driving on our sidewalks.

  This post office closes early when certain employees are around. They will stare at you until 5pm, and then tell you the system has shut down. As a public service, this is unacceptable. You have cost me business 2 weeks in a row by closing at 4:48pm, probably earlier. You're open until 5pm, and I will be reporting this incident to the US Postal Service. You are not a private business; you can't just close whenever you want to go home early. Outrageous behavior to shut the blinds on people before 5pm and say you're closed. This incident happened today at 4:48pm; all postal workers scheduled for this ship should be reprimanded. 2 weeks in a row! Completely shady and unreliable employees. The woman who started at me until 5 and told me they're closed is pictured doing the same thing in this photo. Unreal.

  My experience at this post office on 07/27/2026 at 4:09pm was incredibly frustrating. I went in to have a mailbox key reissued so I could access my mail, and I was told they couldn’t help me. Yet, with the exact same government-issued photo ID and a yellow package pickup slip, they had no problem retrieving my oversized packages from the back. If my identity can be verified well enough to release packages, why is it suddenly insufficient to address an issue preventing me from accessing my mailbox? The inconsistency in policy and lack of explanation made no sense. What stood out most wasn’t just the inability to resolve the problem, it was the attitude. Rather than trying to help or explain the process professionally, the staff came across as dismissive, indifferent, and more interested in exercising authority than providing customer service. A little empathy and a willingness to assist would have gone a long way. The USPS provides an essential public service, and customers deserve knowledgeable employees who are willing to help navigate issues instead of creating unnecessary obstacles. This location could benefit from additional customer service training and a renewed focus on serving the public.

  (7-21-2026) Man! Fix your DAMN parking lot!! It's been over 2 months or more that I mentioned this to the clerk at the desk. By the time you pull in the lot. You're going to need an alignment on your vehicle. And if your lucky enough to miss that first "HUGE" pothole. There's another one waiting for you when you go to exit. Hey, postmaster general! Get off your butt! And get over to Home Depot, and grab a few bags of black top patch/pothole filler. And fill in these DAMN potholes! Before someone gets hurt. Then what?
