To Whom It May Concern: I am writing to formally express my dissatisfaction with the customer service provided at the United States Postal Service office serving ZIP Code 33032 in Homestead, Florida. On August 7, 2026, I visited this post office and waited approximately 20 minutes to be assisted. During my wait, there was only one employee attending to the public, which resulted in an already considerable delay. While customers were waiting, the electricity briefly went out at the facility. However, the power was restored almost immediately. Despite the fact that electricity had returned, the manager of the facility decided to terminate customer service at approximately 4:00 p.m. What is particularly disappointing is that customers had already spent significant time waiting to receive service, and the electrical interruption was extremely brief. Once power was restored, there appeared to be no reasonable justification for abruptly ending service for customers who had already been waiting. The manager’s response to the public was also inappropriate and disrespectful. Customers were essentially told that, if they wanted service, they could simply go to another post office. This response was unacceptable, particularly after customers had already waited for an extended period and had made the effort to come to this location. I believe customers deserve to be treated with respect, professionalism, and consideration, especially when an unexpected situation occurs. The decision to stop serving customers immediately after the electricity was restored, combined with the manner in which the situation was communicated, demonstrated a lack of consideration for the public. I respectfully request that USPS review what occurred at this location, including the decision made by the manager to end customer service at 4:00 p.m., and evaluate whether the employees and management followed appropriate USPS procedures for handling temporary power interruptions and customers already waiting for service. I also request that appropriate measures be taken to ensure that similar situations do not happen again and that customers are treated respectfully and professionally. Thank you for your attention to this matter. I look forward to receiving a response regarding the investigation and any corrective action that may be taken. Sincerely, Yasiel Cao Gil

I’m only giving one star because Google requires a rating to leave a review. This is the worst post office I have ever had the misfortune of dealing with. The staff is rude, they often fail to deliver mail and packages to my address, and both packages and mail have gone missing. Their customer service is terrible, and when customers ask to speak with the manager, the manager doesn’t come out to address their concerns. Overall, this is by far the worst USPS location I’ve experienced. I hope USPS takes these complaints seriously and improves the service for the community.

Horrible service. Say package delivered to a parcel locker....never had that happen. No key left to open said parcel locker. They do not pick up the phone. No wonder the postal service going broke. Send my tax dollars elsewhere.
