- AAAa AaAug 21, 20261.0We moved into our home 4 YEARS ago. Have been trying to get a key to the mailbox since we moved in. About a year in we got tired of having to go to the post office to pick up mail, and got a mailbox at a mailbox store. This year the postal delivery person began stopping by our house insisting we get a key to the mailbox. So, as crazy as it sounds, we tried again. AGAIN USPS has epically failed to produce a key. Oh, and they charge $65 for this failure. What the heck is wrong with these people? I have never encounter such a failure to do what someone is paid to do. 4 YEARS! They still can't get it done. It's a key, not rocket science. I called the 800 # and they gave me a direct number to the post office location where we paid for the key to be made. Called multiple times and every time, someone picked up the phone and then immediately hung up the call. Clearly they can make time to come by our house and harass us to get a key, but they can't actually produce the key. Don't bother w/USPS, just go to UPS or a postal store, you will actually get service there. USPS is absolutely pathetic and corrupt.

Honestly the workers are good folks, but maintenance and management are letting them down and having them work in subpar conditions.
