Went in to rent a #2size po box & completed paper work for a #2 size, did address change, only to find out when leaving & to check keys, they gave me a #1 size. We all make mistakes but to be treated like it was such a hassle to correct it & told they can just hold any mail that doesnt fit. It made me feel I have picked the wrong Post Office to do business with. Now I’m stuck with a #1 size for a year.

The problem, as usual, is shoddy service and the customer be dammed attitude of USPS management. The window says “SELF SERVICE LOBBY OPEN 24 HOURS”. Don’t bother making the trip. There are no pens, no envelopes, no boxes, the self service kiosk displays SERVICE NOT AVAILABLE for EVERY service you can imagine. Stupidly, I returned home and came back to the post office with my own envelope and stamps, without checking to see that the kiosk functioned. On the bright side, the NO SERVICE lobby was clean and uncluttered. Nobody needs USPS. Its horrible service is a national joke, first class mail is obsolete, and packages are handled much better by other carriers. The epitaph should read: WE DIDN’T CARE.
