They said they tried to deliver a package on a day both me and my were home and no one knocked or rang the bell. So I scheduled a redelivery on a day I knew we'd both be home again. Same thing happened - no one showed up.
- PBpeter byrneJul 14, 20261.0Terrible job by USPS. Got a jury duty summons from Defuniak Springs to Defuniak Springs a month after the postmark. A day after I was supposed to be at the court house. Obviously happens all the time because the courthouse acted like "oh this again". They can shove tons of political crap in your mailbox but not what's supposed to go in it.
- DDDevesMay 27, 20261.0Package was supposed to be delivered Monday but to big to fit in a partial locker. I get it. It’s a holiday office not open. I called Tuesday morning at 8:34 in the morning. They said that it was gonna be delivered on Tuesday. No slip in the mailbox no delivery no nothing. I spoke with my normal mail carrier which he definitely gets five stars Danial is the best mail carrier I think Defuniak has. He spoke with the sub mail carrier that was supposed to deliver it today. Still no delivery. I called the postmaster. He’s been doing it for 32 years so you can’t tell him anything . Say it’s too big to be delivered. But there is a 3000 square-foot building that packages can be delivered to so it’s just pure laziness and incompetence and not being able to read. The sooner I can move from this area and this post office the better I will be. Danial has been the only one that communicates delivers stuff properly and actually takes pride and his work. They have so many issues with all these other people but they will not get rid of them or replace them with. It is absolutely ridiculous. The US Postal Service is truly a letdown.
