  I have been using this post office for over 20 years, and unfortunately, the customer service and overall atmosphere have noticeably declined over the last several years. The lines are often long, no one seems to greet or acknowledge customers, and many of the employees appear unhappy or bothered by having to interact with the public. Today, I simply stopped in to drop off a prepaid package. One of the employees was standing in the lobby, and I couldn’t even get a simple hello or acknowledgment from her. She appeared visibly irritated and completely unapproachable, so I didn’t even feel comfortable asking where I should leave my prepaid package since the drop off bin was gone and now my package will be late. Customer service doesn’t have to be complicated. A simple “hello,” “good morning,” or acknowledgment that a customer is standing in front of you goes a long way. After more than 20 years of using this location, it’s disappointing to see how much the atmosphere has changed. Management may want to consider additional customer-service training and remind employees that the people walking through the doors are customers who deserve basic courtesy and professionalism. Customers shouldn’t feel like they’re inconveniencing employees simply by walking into the post office.

  If I could give this office a one star rating I would. I had such a terrible experience! I had an appointment for 3pm on 3/21 and wasn’t greeted at all. The clerk was sitting down on his phone, as if he hadn’t have customers in hours. Cool, fine! Had a few questions about filling out the passport renewal form since this was my first time renewing it on my own. He had no sense of compassion or understanding being that it was my first time and I needed help. But trust you me , it was my last time. Someone of the same race as him, came in after me for the same thing. One of her pages was entirely wrong and she got to redo that page and keep her appointment. Might I add that he said I had to reschedule because I was three minutes late. Needless to say I went to a different office and was dealt RESPECT and got everything completed and sent in. I will never do business with this office ever again. I’d rather drive an hour away to a decent post office than to deal with someone belittling me because I had questions and needed help. Worst customer service ever!

  My experience on 8/21/2026 at 3:15PM was horrible. Scheduled my Passport appointment and was running Late walked in and said such. Hi my name sorry Im running Late. Response OK YOUR LATE lemme see what you have, the Tone was RUDE. I pulled out my information and asked a question about my application. Response O you didn't fill out the application, Im Gonna have to reschedule you. Your Late and you didn't come prepared. What day is good for you. No understanding, No Patience. I did not reschedule but I stood there and filled out my application. I Didnt say A Word. A lady of a different race came in for her passport. And she was greeted with respect .Her application was filed out incorrectly and he had soooo much Patience with her. I Was Impressed and Sad at the same time. Walked out Googled post offices that do passports with Walk Ins and Lake Helen came up. Got there before 4pm and had THE BEST experience their. Going to leave a review for them as well.

  One of the friendliest and efficient (yet small) post offices I've ever visited and had to use, and there have been many for buisness and personal! This location is well run and easily accessible and a great location.

  The male clerk with blonde/brown hair gets Zero stars. ❌👎 I had a very disappointing experience at this Post Office today. It was my first time visiting this location, as I have just moved to the area, and I came in with multiple packages that simply needed prepaid labels printed. I mistakenly assumed the branch had a self-service kiosk, but it does not. We arrived about 15 minutes before closing. While I understand that this may be inconvenient for staff, the office was still open, and customers should not be made to feel unwelcome or talked down to for arriving during posted business hours. The clerk who assisted us was condescending, unhelpful, and repeatedly made comments that made both my friend and me feel uncomfortable. Instead of helping us navigate the situation, he seemed more focused on criticizing us for coming in before closing. He made the entire experience about how we came in late, and that we are “annoying.” I have always had positive experiences with USPS overall and regularly use their online services for stamps, shipping supplies, and package pickups. Unfortunately, this particular interaction was so negative that I do not plan to return to this location, or even to any store.
