  Staff is super friendly, but there's ALWAYS a long wait and it's not good when your legs hurt standing still. Plus there's elderly barely able to walk making them stand. Plus I had to come back here for the second time to get my stopped mail off. I realize with government funds getting cut left and right this is the expected norm.

  Always a long line. People come in with many items and tie up the counter for long whiles and the line just keeps building. There should be an express line for people with just 1 or 2 items.

  Even on Saturday mornings 🌞📦, when the post office is usually very busy, the line moves quickly and efficiently. The postal service employees are always helpful, polite, and friendly, which makes every visit a pleasant experience. Parking is generally easy to find, which is another plus. I also appreciate having the option to send packages 📦 even when the post office is closed. However, I personally prefer coming during business hours because I enjoy the friendly and helpful service provided by the postal service team. Overall, I always have a positive experience here.

  I called this morning in regards to a mailing issue I am having. The 1-800 number I called was some AI slop bot that didn’t help for shit. The 386 number Rang and randomly hung up. The TTY number is no longer in service. I never expect much From anything ran by the government, but this is absolutely ridiculous. It’s not hard to answer the phone. This ai shit is useless. It takes five minutes to help someone. Too bad I wasn’t able to take the survey at the end of the call. If you need help, don’t expect to get help. Don’t expect to even get Through on the call. Do the job you’re signed up for or quit.

  Worst USPS I’ve ever dealt with. If you pay for shipping you would think your order would be delivered to your residence, but no…they expect you to pick it up from their facility. My package was supposed to be delivered last Tues 8/18. I received an email that my package delivery was “attempted.” I called and had it rescheduled for the following day. It never arrived. As of today 8/24, I had called USPS 6 different times to figure out where my package is. Each time the representative told me they rescheduled it for delivery. Package never arrived. I called again today and they told me that it wasn’t delivered because I live in a gated apartment complex. I do not. They said the other reason is that the mail room at my complex is not secure (no cameras etc.). I asked why it couldn’t be delivered to my apartment door (under 70 pounds) and was told because I’m on the 3rd floor and they don’t have to lol. I was told the only way I can get my package is if I pick it up. My question is why didn’t they inform me of this last Tuesday when I called for re-delivery? Instead they made me wait a week and sit on the phone for 30+ min talking to a rep 6 different times. It just comes across as lazy. Since I work during the day, I had my friend pick up my package. My friend said there was only 1 person working and a bunch of people waiting in line. Luckily, my friend got there before the line formed and only had to wait 30 minutes (but still). The postal man at the front had the gall to tell my friend the package should be pretty easy to lift into the car, and that it’s not too heavy. That’s rich coming from USPS when they said they couldn’t deliver to my door. My friend made a comment about that and the postal man jokingly said something to the effect of the carrier isn’t going to go the extra mile. That’s great to hear as a customer. The only bright spot in this whole thing was Darrel at the South Daytona USPS location. Even though he didn’t work at Bill France Blvd, he still tried to assist me in getting my package last Friday. This is not the first time I’ve had an issue with this location, but the first time I am writing a review. If you don’t want a headache and extra work please avoid USPS’ Bill Francis BLVD location.
