This specific post office has become a nightmare. I now drive miles further to valrico & Bloomingdale to receive the very little amount of customer service I need. I walked out of my passport appointment because the woman that was taking care of me was foul. She greeted me with ‘I called your name twice and almost moved on.” My son and I were early for our appointment standing in dead silence and she never said my name. The attitude, eye rolling and tone was enough to make an appointment at Valrico. It’s very easy to start with ‘Hello.” This place also slices open packages they suspect are covering a priority box. Then return them 3 days later. They throw your packages around while customers watch. Aside from 2 friendly clerks, these employees seem miserable. Do they need more breaks, pay? Why is it just like this here?

Usually the staff is so nice but the 2 women I had today, you would have thought that they hated their job. The first one at the service desk at the end was super nasty to me and most of Customers coming in. her name was Sam. There were some customers before me that asked for help and she was just very bothered. I came and asked her for my package I needed to be picked up and she rolled her eyes like we asked for something wrong. Then the girl who came from the back she was cursing up a storm in front of us.i provided my lease for proof of where I lived and the package I was picking up. I tried to show her the landlords name and mine. She completely ignored me and continued. It’s customer service honey have a little class and respect for those you are tending to because without those customers you have no job. You all have bad days but it’s not anyone’s fault. If you don’t like your job then go find something that will make you happy. No one picked you up from your house to come tell you to come work at the post office… you applied and chose to work there.. do better.

I went to USPS Oakfiel Drive Brandon today to send by mail the renewal of my expired passport. It was an easy few people line, no long wait process around 3:30 pm. Clerk #41 took care of my application putting all together and I had everything I needed with me to be mailed. My experience was ok until I tried to help her showing her the address where my mail should be send. I took a photo of my screen computer at work with the correct address for who ever is mailing from Florida. It is different depending on your State. She responded to me saying “I am an agent, you don’t have to tell me anything I have to do”… I was like: ok, sorry. I work for a healthcare provider in the area, first line responder health care professional here. If, for whatever reason I give a patient or a provider a response like that in my workplace and my immediate superiors get to know it, I would be fire the same day. No needed to be rude with people while working for a federal agency. We pay your salary with our taxes. We deserve better. After checking all previous reviews here I can see other negative feedback about passport process in this post office location and there is a picture of her. Her name is “Sam” they said. They are talking in their reviews how she has been acting with bad attitude and very rude in different occasions. So, this is not an isolated incident.

I want to start by saying I NEVER have left a bad review in my life…but the experience I had here was THAT bad. First off, after waiting in line about 5 mins I was next to be called up when one of the workers made eye contact with me and yelled “if you have a QR code, go to the kiosk!” I then asked “for returns?” (Because I’ve always gone right up to the desk for every return that I need packaged). She replied “yeah.” With an attitude. So I went and printed my label and got back in line. I was again next in line when a few things started falling out of my ripped bags. I picked them up and looked up to an employee (who had an open desk) smirking at me and looking at me like I was stupid or lost. But said absolutely nothing. So I then asked if he was available to service me… he didn’t respond but KEPT SMIRKING and just stared at me. I then said “look if I can please just have some direction, I’ve never done a return like this before.” He waved me over, handed me a bag, stuck my label on the empty bag and said I was good to go… GO WHERE?? I asked where to put my package and he pointed to the bins that had no labels or indicators that return packages go there. All this to say— the entire time the whole crew behind the counter found it very noticeably amusing that I had NO direction or guidance for a simple service. It is LITERALLY your job to help with these things. I have never been purposefully embarrassed in public like that in my life. I hope ya’ll find some decency and learn how to treat humans like people. Especially when you’re getting PAID for it. Will not be using this post office again.
