  I would give it zero stars if I could. Rude and condescending service. and I'm being nice. Having to deal with the people at the counter is like a root canal. Awful. Avoid if there is any way.

  There is NO point in even attempting to call this location, they simply do not answer the phone. Oh, and if you let it ring long enough, someone will hang up your call without answering. What an absurd waste of federal funds...

  I've had 2 vacations impacted in back-to-back years because the hold mail cards which I hand delivered both times were not honored. I had packages being shown as delivered both times while on extended vacations and had to spend considerable vacation time to get each one resolved. This location also never answers their listed phone number. I hope there is an investigation into this post office.

  Know before you go: if you are headed southbound on Mayport Rd. (toward Atlantic Blvd) take a left at the light onto Plaza Rd. and then turn right just before the Sea Oats apartments. That will take you in the back way so you can avoid having to make a U-turn further down the road. As for the service, it’s definitely not great. There is a much nicer one a few miles down McCormick Rd. I usually go to that one unless it is something that specifically relates to my mail.

  I received an orange delivery slip in my mailbox that is located in the front of my condo community. As always, the postal worker refuses to put it in the larger box where I should be able to access it with a key they are supposed to leave, but instead I received this slip for a small package and it was not left in a box nor put on my front door step as it should have been. My main issue is this - The orange delivery slip with this Mayport USPS pickup information states to attempt to pick it up here in-person, either M-F 8am-5pm, or Saturday 8am-1pm and of course closed on Sundays. Yesterday morning on Saturday, after getting off work from a 10 hour overnight shift from work, I received this orange slip from my mailbox (that shouldn't have had to be in there to begin with), but made my way to this location -which is located 5 miles from where I live. The slip gave the option to come in Saturday between 8am-1pm. I arrived there at 7:45am and waited in the car until right at 8am, expecting the door to be open. I walked up and there is no one there, and the hours on the door say they open at 9am. If you are going to be lazy and not do your job that you get paid good money to do, at least update the correct hours of operation on your silly little orange slip. Additionally, there was nothing checked on the slip I received as to why it was not left in my box, not left on my door step so I have no idea why I had to run around trying to intercept my package. The individual at the counter was not helpful and had an "oh well" attitude. Every day I am picking up my mail at my boxes in my condo place where I live -every single day there is a pile of someone else's mail and packages sitting out there that have been delivered to the wrong person. This every day. If you are too lazy to simply do your job and actually deliver someone their items that they pay good money for shipping, then get a desk job or quit. Preferably the latter.
