After standing in line with two not small boxes and a package, the guy behind the counter picks up a box and says, "it won't fit, if it doesn't fit in the box, we don't take it". Mind you, they were already in boxes when I brought them in. Where is it advertised that returns can only be a certain size?😤

The day before our nonprofit's annual event at the local art museum, I placed an order for labels for our lemonade stand. About an hour before the event, I received a call saying the printer was broken. Instead of offering a solution, I was told I could either pay an extra fee to have the order sent to another store or cancel it altogether. I chose to drive 30 minutes to another Staples location, only to arrive and find that they had no record or ID for my order. This caused unnecessary stress and put our event at risk at the last minute. As a nonprofit organization, we depend on businesses to honor their commitments, especially for time-sensitive events. I understand that equipment can fail, but the lack of communication, coordination between stores, and customer service was unacceptable. I expected Staples to help resolve the issue without asking me to pay more or spend additional time driving around. I hope Staples improves how it handles situations like this so other customers, especially nonprofits and community organizations, don't have the same experience.
