  Went today to mail a few boxes to friends and was immediately met with hostility and aggression by their employee Ruben. Not sure what was going on with his day, perhaps he was tired or something, but I’ve never encountered anything like this at this post office before. He was the only one working, so I couldn’t move to another individual for assistance. If he’s the only one there when you arrive, just be ready for a shocking amount of combativeness over nothing right off the bat.

  Terrible experience. Hostile, rude, and angry employees. Wish I could give zero stars. The employee working there refused to give us a new passport application form when we made a mistake if filling one out and refused to move forward with our appointment despite us being there 10 mins early. Avoid this location if you can - there is something deeply wrong with it.

  Truly awful experience. This is by far the most unprofessional and incompetent USPS office I have dealt with. To begin with, the employees showed no basic manners or respect — not even a simple “hello.” What made the experience even worse was our child’s passport appointment. We arrived beforehand yet were dismissed as always and then with 15 minutes still remaining for the appointment, we were refused service ( for the 3rd time). Then my husband was told to come back the next day ALONE with the minor, even though both parents are generally required for a child’s passport appointment unless proper documentation is provided. The staff clearly did not understand their own regulations. Because of their mistakes and misinformation, we are now left fixing a situation they created. It honestly makes me wonder whether employees receive any proper training on customer service, professionalism, or even the basic rules related to their job responsibilities.

  This review is overdue. I’ve been to this post office several times for various things. The staff is always incredibly rude straight out of the gate. Like literally right away and for no reason. I’m a very non confrontational person, so it’s very jarring to feel attacked for nothing at all. One guy who is almost always there (I don’t know his name) has been very rude to me and my mother in law on several different occasions. The passport woman (Maraqua?) couldn’t have been more rude over the walk in passport hours, which she claimed were discretionary despite no indication of that online. We came at 2pm on a Monday, during the stated walk in hour, when no one else was there for a passport, and my husband took time off of work to be there since we there for our child. While I was waiting in line to have more questions about passport appointments answered she was yelling relentlessly at an older man about something and then yelled at me for coming back inside for questions. It would have been faster to just be polite to everyone, and I left still confused and afraid to be honest. I won’t be coming back. The entire staff at this office needs to get turned over. It’s embarrassing for the town of Westport and the US in general to have such awful, mean employees. TLDR: always rude staff. Passport walk in hours aren’t real (photo included so you know which ones I mean). Go somewhere else!!

  Very rude employee, said he was going to bump our passport appointment because we questioned him on something we had confirmed with the passport agency. Walked away from us and refused to let us speak. Wish I would have seen reviews before coming here. Go somewhere else, not worth the frustration. PS. Their photo machine is broken
