Remember when the USPS used to promise to deliver the mail "come rain, nor sleet, nor hail?" It's seems like their motto now is that they'll do whatever it takes to avoid delivering the mail. I sent ny son and daughter in law a package from Amazon. I don't know why Amazon sent it USPS. Amazon, UPS, and Walmart all deliver right to their porch or door. The post office refuses. So, the day it was supposed to be delivered, I got a notice that the mailbox was full or the item was too big so they either had to go pick it up at the post office or schedule redelivery. For the past decade I've had rhe USPS customer service number in my phone as "Totally worthless customer service USPS." I have good reasons for that, and this attempt at scheduling redelivery just solidified my disdain for their customer service. After multiple tries by phone and online, I finally got it scheduled for the following day and selected "porch" for the location of the redelivery. The next day, there was no new information in tracking. It still said thwy had attempted delivery the day before and action was needed to reschedule or pick up. In the mailbox I found a note that said they won't deliver to the house so we need to go pick it up. The point of ordering online for delivery is so that they don't have to drive down a mountain and into town. Now, not only do they have to do that, but it has to be during the post office's limited business hours. Should they take off work to pick up a gift? Amazon doesn't allow me to select not to send things by USPS. It should be on USPS to not accept packages addressed to locations they won't deliver to. Further, if porch drop off isn't an option, don't present it to me. After finally getting ahold of someone at the worthless cs number, he gave me the number to the local post office. I called multiple times. Their solution for thise pesky customers who need service is just to refuse to answer the phone. I would rather have a package shipped by unicorn than by USPS. The result would have been the same but without all the frustration.

Rudest employee I have ever come across. Women with blonde hair at the front desk was not friendly and even make a very rude comment. First time getting my passport and didn’t know all the little details. After forgetting to make a copy of my passport even though I brought it in, she said “maybe you should follow directions”. At this point I replied with “ma’am, this is my first time”. She made this whole trip very unpleasant. Would never go back. WOODLAND PARK POST OFFICE, GET BETTER STAFF!

Went in for scheduled passport paperwork and photos. ( Was in a great mood upon entry) Was relieved I was the only one there. 2 employees helped me and a middle aged brunette woman took charge of the process. She could not have been more unprofessional and rude . I remained calm as she acted as if I was inconveniencing her entire day.... absolutely shocked that she has a job dealing with the public. I will never come back to this location as long as she works there. Hate leaving a bad review but this was above and beyond.

March 2024 WP had snowmegeddon. If you live here you know what I’m talking about. Some neighborhood PO boxes were buried under 3’ of snow, for days. And just because we had tons of snow, that didn’t stop mail and packages from flooding into Woodland Park. All this to say, IMO the staff at this post office - from inside employees to mail carriers - did an amazing job of getting mail delivered as soon as they could, and being cheerful and helpful in spite of lines and backup for days. Thanks, all of you. I for one am impressed and grateful!
