- COCindy OwensJul 18, 20261.0I went to the Post Office to get postage for an oversized letter. The line had seven people, so I chose the machine in the lobby. I went through the whole process, paid for the postage but it did not come out of the machine. I asked the lady helping the big line of people if someone else was there that could help me with the postage machine that took my money but didn't give me the postage. She said she was helping this line of people. I said that is why I asked her if someone else could help me. She took offense, so she let me wait in the line until there was only one customer in front of me, and then she told me she was not skilled enough to help me...I would have to call a supervisor, there was no one there that could help me. An argument ensued. I was flabbergasted that she was so unprofessional, she couldn't tell me upfront. Doesn't customer service matter? I guess if you're the only game in town, you can treat the public any way you want. I'm out the postage I already paid, and still have the letter to mail! I can't imagine it's going to be easy to get my money back.
