- JHJonathan HolmgrenJul 20, 20245.0The post office in San Luis works hard as hell to deliver mail as it’s received by them. They are kind and are extremely polite to those who treat them the same. It seems as though the transplants that move to the San Luis area are accustomed to how the USPS operates in a large town or city. Informed Delivery scans are made in Colorado Springs USPS, usually about 2 days from being dropped off to San Luis USPS. So if your mail says it’s there with a ID scan, it’s probably not to San Luis yet. See how easy that is to understand? There’s literally 2 people working the station with only 1 on duty most days. I’ve been a transplant here for over 2 years and never had a problem with receiving my mail on time. If you live in San Luis or the villages have some gosh dang patience with the USPS and be nice to Yvette.

Ever since moving here over 6 years ago, I have always been welcome with a friendly smile from Post Master Yvette, who works tirelessly to deliver and send our mail, WITHOUT ANY ADDITIONAL HELP! Additionally, her office janitor, Ms. Martha keeps the cleanest post office I have ever stepped into. Both of these tireless women work so hard and the town of San Luis should be so fortunate to have them serve us in such an important capacity. I have never looked forward to going to the Post Office until now! Five stars all the way!
- ZBZombieGhost BonesJan 2, 20211.0The laziest and most incompetent group of individuals to ever work in one place, definitely government level work. My mail has NEVER been placed in my PO box on time, usually a WEEK after arrival in San Luis, does it finally make its way to my mailbox.
