Told me “they don’t usually tape for you but he’ll do it this time” I told him I didn’t have tape at the house and he replied with “you’ll have to buy it” in the most smug tone . He needs an attitude adjustment, I mean you stand behind a counter in an air conditioned building, what possibly could you be so angry about, Tony?
- YYYolandaSep 9, 20261.0I did not catch the name of the gentleman who was assisting everyone, but unfortunately, the interaction was not very helpful. I simply needed a change-of-address form and drove all the way to this branch, only to be told they didn’t have any available. When I asked where I was supposed to get one, I felt like the conversation turned into an explanation of what postal workers are and are not responsible for rather than helping me figure out what my next step should be. I understand that so many things are handled online now, but that was already part of my frustration. I came to the post office in person because I was trying to get this taken care of. On top of that, the system crashed while I was there, so the gentleman in front of me couldn’t complete his purchase and the rest of us waiting in line couldn’t be assisted either. I understand that technical problems happen and are outside of the employees’ control. I just wish the interaction had been a little friendlier and more helpful, especially when customers were already frustrated because we had waited in line and ultimately couldn’t accomplish what we came there to do.
