  I recently closed a transaction last Friday with Patty Baca at First American Title Company (Parker office), and I cannot recommend her highly enough. Patty is truly exceptional—she's always on top of every file, communicates promptly and clearly every single time, and handles details with remarkable thoroughness, conciseness, and professionalism. I was on the listing side, and unfortunately, the buyer’s lender and agent were disorganized and repeatedly delayed the clear-to-close (promising it 'in minutes' multiple times when it should have been ready days earlier). Despite these challenges, Patty single-handedly held the deal together. At the 11th hour on a Friday, she found a last-minute notary, adjusted the closing schedule three times to accommodate the lender’s shifting timelines, balanced figures with the lender at 5 PM, and then coordinated directly with the buyers to complete their signing after hours—all to ensure the transaction funded and closed on the same day our seller expected. Patty went far above and beyond what anyone could reasonably ask. She’s irreplaceable, incredibly dedicated, and the reason this deal succeeded despite significant obstacles. If you're in the market for a title officer who truly cares and delivers results, Patty Baca at First American Title is the absolute best.   Completely unresponsive- I have to wire closing money for a client and they want to charge extra for their own notary- that's fine, but I need a total and I shouldn't have to chase them around to get that. I've been calling and emailing and no one bothers to get back to me. I shouldn't even have to call or email they should contact me with the amount to wire as they said they would, but now daysbefore closing I still don't know how much money I am supposed to wire and I am out of time to devote to this.

  We just sold our house and used First American Title. They sent us preview closing documents a few days before the closing. But they transposed a number on our loan payoff amount, which made all the calculations wrong. Their mistake meant we got a disbursement on closing day that was $3k less than we expected. I expect no mistakes on a transaction of this size and importance. How could they not have double checked their figures before sending out the preview documents? Totally inexcusable and unprofessional.
