- JPJessica PaigeAug 15, 20221.0I paid $577 with usps- they didn't deliver my packages to my home. I had to pick them up. Their excuse was "if we delivered all yours, others wouldn't get their packages" I live 3 minutes from the post office and fit all the boxes in my car. It'd have taken maybe 15 minutes to drop my PAID SERVICES off
- DWDavid WeberMay 18, 20194.0I don't know why this post office gets such bad reviews. I've lived here 28 years and though the postal employees come and go, they have been consistently helpful and friendly. Since Paonia doesn't have universal street delivery of mail, shippers often leave off the PO Box and try to send via USPS to my street address. The Paonia Post Office could send it back as undeliverable but, instead, takes that extra bit of care to correct the address. Also, the Post Office is the people nexus of the town where you meet friends and chat.

I've lived in multiple cities as an adult and do 99% of my shopping and business via post. I've never had near this much trouble with a postal service. Packages take a day plus over any estimate given simply because "They didn't get to it" packages are frequently lost or completely smashed and 90% of the time the lazy delivery driver leaves a notice instead of a package. When at all possible I try to ship FedEx or Ups just to avoid this horrible post office! It's no wonder usps is loosing customer base left and right! Awful.
