I just want to say thank you to everyone at the 80120 post office. Everyone from the fill in carriers to the ladies behind the counter at the post office went above and beyond by fixing a potentially expensive and time consuming mistake of mine. Thank you for your time and service.

Last week I visited this location to inquire about receiving certain pieces of mail at my new address but not others. When I arrived to the desk the front clerk (older pretty hispanic lady with glasses and bangs) explained to me the process and what I should do to receive mail but after realizing I am doing that she couldn't help me any longer and asked her supervisor to assist. (tall white man, says his name was John) John introduced his self as the postal manager of the location. After explaining my issue he tells me he will check the route to ensure proper handling of the mail and if not retrain the carriers along my old route. While this sentiment was nice, I was more concerned with actually receiving my pieces of mail that I see in emails on informed delivery, but have yet to receive at my new address. I informed him I attempted a change of address on 3 separate occasions but was unsure of they registered because online both times I was almost instantly refunded, which seemed odd. The manager John reiterated in a dismissive manner it wasn't much he could do. But reassured me the change of address is intact since I am receiving certain items of mail.after a restless back and forth between us of about 13 minutes long he said he would call the police if I didn't leave. As a black woman in Littleton this made me very sad, hurt and embarrassed. But standing up for myself and what I know is right I politely encouraged him to do so. As she left a few bystanders cheered me on encouraging me to continue demanding I get the help I need. The postal police officer that returned, was MORE THAN HELPFUL. He looked in the system at the very computer to confirm the change of address under my name, that the office manager stood next to and pretended he could not assist me. We then discovered my temporary change of address expired after 6 months and was going to a completely different address. The officer then helped me complete 2 new change of address forms, in addition to placing a hold on my mail. This will allow me to pick it up at the postal office to avoid on further misdeliveries. The manager John made me cry, I felt discriminated against! But luckily he did "call the police" on me because the officer was of much more use than he was to me. The officer didn't make me cry but John did. Ultimately John tried to vilify me but ultimately ended up helping me in doing so. Needless to say, I would love to see the postal police off that assistrd me in a higher position of leadership. He did really awesome deescalating the situation and readdressing my attention to what can be done. Thanks to the officer I left the location satisfied.

Across the street from the train station. Always friendly there and they work pretty quick, even when there is a line. Good street parking right in front. Some cool little cafés nearby and some hip shops to browse. Chase bank across the street for easy banking and ATM.

Was told we are dropping to much off and we have to now scan everything in one by one if we want to use usps. We pay for the service we pay the postage? Why can’t you just do your jobs?. We pay lots for priority and have been for last two years. If I could do lower than 1 star I would. This post office has been terrible. Absolute joke. Do better and do your job or get a new one.
