- ADArgo DelightAug 3, 20265.0I love this post office! They get your mail here and then they give it to you, so it does what it is supposed to do. There is plenty of parking, the roof does not leak, and they have heat and ac. I also love the location. As soon as you walk out, you are greeted by amazing mountains, blue skies, and the sound of hummingbirds. If walking out of every post office was as good as walking out of this one, the world would be a better, happier place. It is a MOUNTAIN post office, and I'm grateful for the service, hospitality and sense of community they provide here. All the folks that complain should just pack up and move down to Denver

- DWDaryl WeeksNov 9, 20231.0My grandmother express mailed me a package. This was $70 to mail. It was guaranteed to arrive on Wednesday 11.8 before 6 pm. It did not arrive. The following morning Thursday the tracking said, arrived at post office in Idaho Springs. I went in to the post office to get the express package that was supposed to be delivered the day before. And was told that it was under 400 other packages. I have worked at the post office and I know that Express mail comes first and is separated from the other mail. Why would you scan an express package saying arrived, and then throw it in with all the other packages to be delivered later. Especially when it was supposed to be delivered the day before. The OIC Cheryl MORALES had an attitude and said she had until 6 PM to deliver the package and that I should apply to the post office and help (wow what an excuse/comeback) Very unprofessional very rude. She said she knew the rules but obviously she does not because if she did, she would’ve separate at the express package from the other packages and realized it was supposed to be delivered the day prior. She did not even spend five minutes to attempt to look for the package.
