They did not send us the right numbers for our final costs, so we had to bring in a check for a surprise real estate fee at the final closing.

Scott Jennings, their escrow officer, emailed me to advise that if I want my money back from First Title, I have to drive from Greenwood Village to Golden just to have my money rewired to my account. I cannot pay for my new rental b/c I need my earnest money back. That is GROSSLY inefficient and a backwards business practice. It's 2020, not 2005. I would never use this title company again in my life due to their archaic way of doing business, and for making the process inconvenient for a buyer.
