- MAMeghan AvilaMay 4, 20261.0Our mailboxes at our complex are being replaced and was directed to this post office to collect our mail since 4/20 (2 weeks ago). I went this weekend to collect my mail and was told that it was being sent out that day. I asked my front office if they were giving new mail box keys since we were now receiving mail and explained what the post office told me. I was told that everyone was being told that, but in reality the post office hasn’t been sorting our mail for pick up or forwarding it to our new boxes. The staff member I spoke to at the post office initially told me “he didn’t know if it was ready”, which I found odd since all my mail had been collecting there for 13 days. Luckily I don’t have anything super important delivered, but I don’t appreciate being lied to because of incompetence on their end. I understand budget cuts and limited staffing are an issue for USPS, but don’t lie to me.
