I've had to go down there several times for ridiculous situations that never should have occurred; box delivered to wrong apartment, package marked as undeliverable because the new girl didn't know what a parcel locker was, an incorrect "sorry we missed you" slip that informed me to pick my package up all the way out at the escondido hub, only to be told there "i don't know why they gave you the wrong slip", and directed me back to the Vista office. Just occurrence after occurrence of blatant incompetence and zero accountability, but that is historically USPS in a nutshell so no surprise. Go private when possible, ship UPS or FEDEX when you have the option.

It made the interaction feel rude and uncomfortable. Post office always should have nice comments and friendly polite people worked there.
