I have been moving across the country and have shipped more than 10 boxes through this location over the past six months, spending well over $1,000. Until June 15, 2026, I had consistently received good service.
At approximately 5:15 PM on June 15, I was assisted by an older male employee with a long beard approximately 50 years of age. Throughout the transaction, he was extremely rude, negative, and unprofessional. After asking what was inside my boxes, he repeatedly told me that shipping them was a waste of money and that everything would arrive broken. He specifically criticized me for shipping candles and other fragile items, despite the fact that I had carefully wrapped them and had successfully shipped many similar boxes from this location without issues.
I explained multiple times that I understood there was always a risk of damage during shipping and that I had previously shipped numerous boxes through this store with positive results. However, he continued to insist that my items would be broken and repeatedly implied that shipping them was a poor decision. His comments came across as dismissive and insulting rather than helpful.
I also requested a fragile sticker for the box because it contained a few glass items, but no fragile sticker was applied. Even after I explained that I was moving across the country in two days and needed to ship the boxes, he continued to make negative comments and display an unprofessional attitude.
I understand that employees may need to explain shipping risks, but there is a significant difference between providing guidance and repeatedly criticizing a customer’s choices. After being a loyal customer for months and spending a substantial amount of money at this location, I was disappointed to be treated with such disrespect. This experience was completely inconsistent with the level of service I had previously received and has left me with little confidence in this location.

This location usually is great, but today had it not been for the only honest employee working, I would have paid SIX TIMES the amount it costs to ship an item for 2 day delivery. I only found out about it after a family member called inquiring about pricing (AFTER I PAID and left the store) and was wondering what other options are available. Thankfully the associate we spoke to on the phone, rectified the situation and gave me a discount for the difference.
I find it highly unethical that information was withheld purposely to make a bigger sale, and then doubled down in the error when confronted about not telling me all of the shipping prices they actually offer. It's hard to want to support a local business (these retail stores are usually franchised) when they have associates that are untrustworthy.

The team working this evening was so amazing and patient! They were able to get a few things printed for me. After going to 2 other UPS stores and a Staples. I appreciate how kind and professional they were. They did a great job and appreciate their attention to detail. Thank you!
