As far as I’ve known - Yes, a postmaster can legally deliver mail themselves on a holiday directly from a post office. While they generally handle administrative tasks rather than delivery routes, there is NO law preventing them from carrying mail, and under certain operational circumstances, they actually do. - Sorry my son was just really excited for his new soccer cleats for His game this weekend. He’s been waiting everyday since we ordered. Saturday they had been “delivered” but still no slip, no problem. It is what it is. - A simple kind answer would be appreciated, the look of hatred could have been avoided. I am fine with people following their company policies. I am fine with people not wanting to do a little extra in the workplace. We’re not all wired that way. I have been in service industry for 25 years I guess I just like to help people when I can but that’s not the case for everyone. But man don’t let your love grow cold. I love to support my community in anyway I can and treating each other with respect and kindness goes along way in this messed up world. Especially this mountain let’s not loose that here, let’s not be like every other soulless city. My son was peering into the empty box disappointingly and since she was standing there I thought it wouldn’t hurt to ask.

- SCShawn CatheyAug 27, 20242.0When it comes to the annual "address verification" for locals to continue their no-fee PO Box, the postmistress is unwilling to complete on a Sat. She believes you need to take a day off work to fit her 8am-4:30pm M-F hours even if you work off the mtn.
