- MSMark SolomonJul 16, 20265.0I had been searching for rolls of stamps and visited four post offices in San Francisco, only to learn that none of them had any. At each location, I was told they were on order. I then left on vacation to Lake Tahoe. As I was passing through Tahoe Vista, I noticed the local post office and decided to stop in. What a wonderful surprise! The post office is in a charming, rustic building that perfectly fits the area. Inside, I found the facility to be neat, clean, and welcoming. Ricardo and Kati greeted me immediately with friendly smiles. They were both personable, professional, and genuinely pleasant to talk with. To my delight, Ricardo told me they had rolls of stamps in stock, and my purchase was completed quickly and efficiently. We continued our conversation for a few minutes, and when I was ready to leave, both Kati and Ricardo thanked me for my business. Their outstanding customer service and warm hospitality made this one of the most enjoyable experiences I've ever had at a post office. After my frustrating search in San Francisco, this visit was a refreshing reminder of what excellent customer service looks like. Thank you, Kati and Ricardo, for making my day. I had no problems getting all my packages via General Delivery in reasonable time during the month I was staying there. Once or twice I had to wait an extra day because they close at a strange time, but they were just redelivered the next day so no big deal.

Opening hours are too short and just weekly, if you work is impossible to make it. I sent someone twice to pick my packages with my ID and a note knowing that they were being withhold there and they say they weren't! Then I recieved a notification they were being returned! Tried to call with no way to get to a representative. The most unreliable service known.
