  The passport photos taken were good. While in the store and discussing my expedited passport application, I was offered their express USPS service to send in my application. I was surprised that the cost of shipping was $66, and commented on it, but was clearly in a hurry and paid for it. I learned later that the cost at a Post Office would have been around $35. The reason I will never return to this store: I paid for EXPRESS USPS service on Thursday 09/03/26 at 1:45pm and the application was received by the processing center on Wednesday 09/09/26 at noon. That is 6 calendar days and 3 business days (Monday was Labor day.) I returned to the store to ask about this “not so express” service for $66. The clerk was defensive, argued about the need to make a profit on shipping, and claimed that he had warned me about the timing. He did not. I would have driven to the post office to ship the same day. The Express USPS mail was not picked up from this store until 11am the day after (Friday - 21 hour delay on “overnight shipping”) and they didn’t warn me about it despite knowing that it is an urgent application. In my opinion, this is poor customer service to make a $30 profit.
