- EGEmily GoldenbergMay 7, 20261.0My apologies to anyone who still works there, but I will no longer be using the US Postal Service to mail anything of any importance. Recently, I paid for a priority, certified, and insured piece of mail and it has been lost. It’s impossible to get a human being on the phone and their website does not work to try to file a claim for a lost piece of mail. This piece of mail had extremely important paperwork that I do not have a copy of, so it is terrible that it’s over 10 days late and cannot be found. It stopped about two weeks ago in Sacramento and hasn’t moved again. When I stopped by the post office here to try to talk to someone they didn’t even attempt to help me. They just said that I have as much information as they do by the tracking number. I don’t think I’ve been this frustrated in a while so I am hoping that no one else has to go through what I am going through. Next time it will definitely be worth it to pay more money but use FedEx or any other service.
