- ONOrlando NellSep 23, 20261.0FedEx customer service is completely broken. My package was out for delivery today, and I was home waiting for it. The driver walked up, rang my doorbell, and immediately ran back to his truck and drove away without waiting even a single minute for anyone to answer. I have the entire thing recorded on my security camera proving it was a completely fake delivery attempt. To make matters worse, the driver immediately logged a "Customer unavailable / business closed" exception at 1:19 PM, which completely locked the tracking status in their system. Because the shipper put a direct delivery restriction on the package, FedEx’s automated system and unhelpful customer service phone line completely block me from redirecting it to a secure retail hold location like a local Walgreens or FedEx Office.Because the driver couldn't bother to wait 30 seconds, they refuse to redeliver it today. Now, my only option to get this urgent item is to drive 25 minutes up the Peninsula to the South San Francisco hub on Victory Ave tonight and wait for the truck to unload. Absolutely pathetic service and zero accountability for drivers who fake their delivery scans. Avoid using FedEx whenever possible.
