I recently visited the USPS location in Simi Valley and had a very good experience. I needed to take care of some mailing and shipping, and everything went smoothly from the moment I walked in. The staff was helpful, professional, and willing to answer my questions. I especially appreciated that they took the time to explain the available options instead of simply processing the transaction and moving on. The office was clean and organized, and even though a post office can get busy, the employees continued working efficiently and kept things moving. I know USPS locations can sometimes have long lines, especially during busy hours, but my visit was much better than I expected. The service was straightforward, and I was able to get everything done without unnecessary complications. I also like that USPS offers so many useful services in one place, including shipping packages, mailing letters, buying postage, PO Box services, and other everyday postal needs. The employees deserve credit for dealing with different customers and different requests throughout the day while still maintaining a professional attitude. Overall, I’m very satisfied with my experience at this Simi Valley USPS. It was convenient, efficient, and much easier than I expected. Thank you to the staff for the helpful service and for making my visit smooth and stress-free. I will definitely come back whenever I need to ship or mail something in the future. Five stars from me!

I wanted to recognize Brandon for his professionalism and accountability. After our mail hold ended 7/30, our accumulated mail was NEVER delivered due to staffing changes following a carrier's retirement. When I called mid morning on 8/1, Brandon didn't make excuses or shift the blame. Instead, he immediately acknowledged that the issue was on their end, explained what had happened, and focused on making it right. What impressed me most was his ownership of the situation. He assured me the mail would be delivered that same day and even stated that if the carrier wasn't able to complete the delivery, he would personally make sure it got to us. I was absolutely floored when he personally called me back to confirm the delivery of all packages and mail was successfully executed. I wasn’t expecting that but it was the cherry on top. That level of accountability and follow-through is becoming increasingly RARE!
Thank you, Brandon, for your excellent communication, and commitment to resolving the issue quickly. Customer service like yours deserves to be praised, recognized, and shared!

A mail carrier stole my package from Japan. When I went to the office, they showed me a signature that wasn't mine and claimed the package had been handed to me. The next day, I met with a supervisor who tried to explain that the package had been left in the mailbox and that I was supposed to find it myself—as if my job were searching for packages rather than theirs delivering them. They are essentially covering for their employee instead of confronting them and seeing their story fall apart; they aren't even considering compensating me for my loss.
