- RRRobyn2 days ago1.0Extremely Disappointing Customer Service – Staples, Simi Valley I don’t live in the Simi Valley area, but I stopped at this Staples location to drop off an Amazon return. Unfortunately, the experience was unpleasant from the moment I walked in. I was not greeted, and the employee I encountered seemed irritated by my presence, as though I were an inconvenience simply for bringing in a package to return. What makes this experience even more disappointing is that this is the second time I’ve visited this store, and both experiences have been equally disappointing. The employees have come across as unfriendly, unwelcoming, and seemingly uninterested in doing their jobs or providing even basic customer service. I understand that everyone has difficult days, but customers should not be made to feel as though they are a bother for simply walking through the door. A greeting, a courteous attitude, and a basic level of professionalism are not unreasonable expectations. First impressions matter, and repeat experiences like this make it clear that this location has a customer service problem that needs to be addressed. There are plenty of businesses that understand the importance of treating customers with courtesy and respect. I will not be returning to this Staples location, and frankly, this experience has left me with little desire to use Staples for my future needs. A business should make customers feel welcome, not leave them feeling as though their presence is an inconvenience.
