- DDDercyMay 22, 20261.0I had a very frustrating experience while processing my children’s passport applications. The employee who handled our case was rude, dismissive, and failed to provide the correct required form (DS-5525). Instead, she simply told me to write a letter explaining my circumstances. A whole month later, the passport processing center contacted me and informed me that I actually needed to complete the DS-5525 form — the same form the office should have provided from the beginning. Because of this mistake, the U.S. Passport Department had to email me the form directly, and now I have to fill it out, sign it, and mail it back myself, causing unnecessary delays and stress. This entire situation could have been avoided if the employee had properly informed me of the requirements in the first place. Very disappointing service and a huge waste of time.

When I asked her questions, she reacted like it such a tedious task to get me a price, when the calculator was literally in front of her. She did a face and a low huffing sound because she had to actually do her job. Also, she gave us attitude when she answered my questions. Very rude!
