    Went in today to return a “no box needed “ Amazon package . Before I went in, I put it in another box just to help out and all It needed was a little bit of tape. They tried to charge me $2 for tape ! When I mentioned that it was the “no box needed” package but she insisted that they’re gonna do it for free this time, but they’re gonna charge me next time. Umm ..no you will not lol They only put one piece of tape on the box that I didn’t even need to put it in. I mentioned about calling Amazon because this is a total scam and she said that it’s the owner’s policy . Hmmm I scroll down in the reviews and this happened to someone else a while back. The owner said that they do not charge for tape. They only charged $.75 for printing a label. Weird

    I have had a box at this ups store for years… it is very literally my home address for everything. My business my packages my life. I’ve had live chickens and fresh fish delivered here without any issues. I’ve left reviews of how amazing the staff is. What great customer service and what a small town feeling it is when they know your name and your box number. When they call you if you accidentally leave your keys in your box. Not anymore! I’ve had some bad experiences over the last few months but today takes the cake and is making me think I should take my business to the post office if I want to be treated like garbage. The clerk just called me entitled because I patiently waited for him to “help” two customers but really he was doing nothing but trying to make himself look busy.

    Note: 7 out of last 10 reviews are 1 star. I have used this place for years, they must have gotten new ownership Last week I needed to ship a 1 page letter to LA overnight and was quoted $150 (after he was done talking on the phone) . I have shipped to the same address several times from the same store and recall it was around $70 . He said they are independently owned and the best he could do was $100. I needed it there the next day so I accepted. Today I had to ship another one pager to the same address. This time I went down the street to the competition and it was $63 overnight. Not only are they not very customer friendly, they are also overcharging by a lot. I've never had to or been able to negotiate my price down 33% for a shipment. And then still paying 40% over the market price. i don't understand why ups allows their resellers to act like this. It affects their reputation and brand name. From the latest reviews it is clear that there is a problem. I'm just happy there is competition so I can use them instead going forward.

    I’m finally writing a review after multiple bad experiences at this site. The new team member is rude, dismissive, and asks what your name is no less than 4 to 5 times. I received a notice that my package was delivered to the store in Sausalito. I actually had two packages to pick up, when was there and he over and over stated that there were no other packages, he asked me my name, no less than five times. He did not want the tracking number or ask for my tracking number. I went to my car and I called every UPS store in Marin and San Rafael. The team members that answered the phone were super helpful and let me know the package, as far as they knew according to the system, was at the Bridgeway location. I went back in and the team member again was dismissive, asked me my name several times, he finally went into the computer and asked what the tracking number was he walked around the store. He was a bit more invested in finding the package. Then he went to the back room, I actually looked at the shelf behind me, and there was my package clearly with my name on it.. When I yelled out here it is, he says OK you’re good to go. No, I’m sorry, no apology, nothing. There was one other customer in the store, he was not busy, he was just rude and dismissive, and appears to have a huge chip on his shoulder. Probably not somebody that you would want to continue to interface with your customers. I literally live less than one minute from this store, and I will not come back. I will drive to San Rafael to pick up my packages that need signatures. Thanks, Mark
