- EBElisa BenningtonSep 13, 20261.0This was by far the worst experience I’ve ever had at a post office, and that says a lot because I have a small business and use USPS almost every day. I came here because it was one of the few locations still open on a Saturday afternoon. I had several packages and needed some of them scanned for proof of acceptance, but the employee refused to take most of them, saying I had too many. I was told to leave the remaining packages in an open basket where they could easily be taken by random people, as there was no security or staff monitoring them. She was the only employee at the front desk, so I was obviously not comfortable leaving my packages there without any proof that they had been properly accepted. The overall interaction was extremely unpleasant and made me feel like I was a burden simply for asking for basic services. I understand that everyone has bad days, but customers shouldn’t have to pay the price for someone else’s mood. People have their own problems and stressful days too, and we still deserve to be treated with basic respect. If someone is genuinely that unhappy with their job, perhaps they should consider doing something else rather than taking their frustration out on customers. Experiences like this give USPS a terrible image, and it’s honestly no wonder people choose other shipping companies. When you rely on USPS almost every day for your small business, being treated this way is simply not sustainable. Judging by the amount of negative reviews, this clearly isn’t an isolated experience. Thankfully, I won’t be coming back.
