  I, too got hit with the $5 'pickup fee' after a shipper told me the package could not be delivered to USPS despite street addressing. Guy at the UPS counter told me packages can't be dropped at USPS, and that's why 'you should get a UPS box instead.' (smug look) He looked #totally surprised when I told him that you can have USPS sign for your packages. Wish I'd made that clear to my shipper, also. UPS stores are often super professional and efficient. And literally my package wasn't there for an hour. It was on the shelf across from the front counter when I walked in. Give them a skip, folks. They have their own agenda, which is your wallet. Annapamu never charged a pickup fee.

  I came in to this store to return a package with shoes to Amazon. I handed the printed return label and the box with shoes to one of the ladies working there. She inspected the package and told me that I needed to purchase a box to put the package in, or otherwise, my return wouldn’t be accepted. I told them the package came in a sealed plastic bag and that’s all I needed. I was informed they didn’t have a plastic bag of that size and my best option was to purchase a box from the store. I agreed to purchase the box since I really wanted to handle this return as quickly as possible and after feeling lost while navigating the parking lot when looking for the store location. I have made returns to Amazon several times at other UPS stores and I have never been asked to purchase additional packaging or shipping materials for the return to be fully accepted by Amazon. I won’t return to this location for any type of business from now and on.
